Experience
Connie has worked to improve operations and governance for many not for profit organisations including the Australasian Legal Practice Management Association, the Institute for Professional Editors, the Australian Chamber of International Trade, the Australian Institute of Export, and has worked with Dairy Food Safety Victoria, Telstra and Yarra Valley Water in communications and management roles.
Before joining forces with Nicki Hauser to form FineHaus in 2017, Connie worked as an independent contractor with a small number of clients, serving as their outsourced Operations Manager and Company Secretary. This included working as the Operations Manager and ALPMA Summit Project Manager for the Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA) for six years. This is where she met Nicki Hauser , who was working as ALPMA’s outsourced Marketing and Business Development Manager.
Working together as a virtual association management team, they oversaw significant growth at ALPMA, including delivering a significant increase in membership and sponsorship, while transforming ALPMA’s online presence, streamlining its operations and growing its peak event, the ALPMA Summit.
This successful collaboration served as the inspiration for the FineHaus business model of providing affordable, flexible and scaleable senior management expertise to not for profit associations, many of whom lack these skills in-house, can’t afford to employ full-time managers or don’t have enough experienced resources to deliver key projects successfully.
